“I would say that kava and I became friends she wrote to me about liking my work I returned the compliment. We met up and we’re fast friends started hanging out she came to my mountain house we played making images just on her phone. She was trying to and successfully included some of my t-shirts in shoots she was doing but most of her work is underwear so we had nothing on bottom that was by me. She expressed wanting her own panty line for all the constant shooting she’s doing. We set out to find a partner who creates organic cotton undies to test out our plan bc costing out producing the test doing proper technical fit etc was a lot to add to my plate and I had never made panties but I was wearing only hearts organic cotton daily.  So we reached out to Only Hearts to say hey we have this idea to make the cleanest best underwear ever made. They were like YES!! They immediately put 100 units into production across briefs and thongs which took a few months and sent them to me. I naturally hand dyed each one and kava photographed them in her notorious style. The limited edition colors batches are made from rainwater pink Himalayan salt and:

Palest pink – organic fermented roses from Morocco  (on my website only)

Pink – organic roses and pink earth from Italy (in only hearts Mott street only)

Strawberry pink – strawberries raspberries and peaches (both on my site and in store)

Turmeric yellow – cold pressed turmeric (briefs in store only and thongs on my site only)

Indigo – home grown Japanese indigo hand cut sun dried and fermented 100 days (only my site )

Ecru from healing barks leaves and Chaga mushrooms (on my site)

Briefs available both locations in breakdown above and thongs are exclusive to my site.

It was a beautiful thing we dreamt up and I think very successfully executed. I mean where else do you find the best organic Pima cotton with the best fit saturated in the best materials known to be good for you then photographed by the lense of someone famous for shooting badass butts. They fit with my brand ethos have fun story telling and truly are so good you could eat them. For this trend of girls steaming their vaginas I keep seeing and haven’t tried I think this is a step removed but keep your sacred bits clean! wear the best undies literally ever on the market.”

Reynolds also got into detail about the use of rainwater as a part of her goal seeking perfection in purity:

“I love the idea of rainwater bc it feels wild. Its falling from a cloud in the sky and I have to catch it or it. When its going to rain I put out one or many of my rain barrels depending on the project size in my driveway not somewhere i’m block the earth from absorbing it. I catch rain that would otherwise become water waste and roll down my drive way into the sewer. Why not harness this rain for a moment in time add amazing plants to it and when i’m finished with it i usually water my plants. I try to play with nature in these ways where it stops to be with me for a moment in time i affect it and let it free again. just playing with things that come my way when they do is seasonal romantic and playful it also happens to be eco and sustainable in method.”
